Jugando la Mano / La Chamba Linda is an art activation across two sites inspired by Caraballo's grandfather’s Delicatessen that interrogates how cultural spaces and activities they contain connect us to our personal, cultural, and spiritual cosmologies.Through this work, I define delicatessens as third spaces for fellowship and healing; cultural games (like Dominos, Brisca, and Bolitas) as simulated tests for collaboration & strategy-formation; and dream-numerology as a framework for survival and echando pa’lante (moving ahead).
