Granny’s Porch is an immersive installation exploring what it means to belong when the people and places that first taught us belonging are gone. Inspired by Shelli Reeves’ grandmother’s porch and kitchen, the project brings together 6 community stories revealing where belonging has lived and lives today. Through oral histories, home videos, sound, and domestic spaces, visitors encounter places of refuge, care, and connection, reflecting on where they belong and how belonging is facilitated.
